How to Stay Healthy through the Holiday's

Last minute survival guide for a healthy holidays! Most people gain a few pounds over the holiday and that's not so much but it all adds up and it is a lot easier to not gain weight, then it is to lose it! So without further a dew my top tips for stay healthy and a few quick workout idea's for when your pressed for time.

Top Ten Tips for Staying in Tip Top Shape

1. Don't carb load ! Things like mash potato's, bread and cake are what's really going to do the big damage! You can still have a small dessert but really try to stay away from the big carbs.

2. Bring the salad! Now you don't really have to bring the salad but you can make sure that there is going to be some healthy options.

3. Eat Slow. Your stomach doesn't register that its full until 20 minutes later. So that your time!

4. Skip the Drinks. I mean everything but water and well to be perfectly honest a little apple cider. But no alcohol , I don't drink so this isn't hard for me but it is really important, no soda or juice really don't. This causes bloat and weight gain.

5. Talk! Its never hard for me but at the dinner table if you talk you won't be eating so this is a great time filler often we eat just because we're bored and food is there!

6. Do quick workouts. I do these right before bed and try to get up early and do a short run it such a great way to start you day ( Holiday workout below )

7. Sleep. is so important and sometimes hard to get during the holiday busyness !

8. Drink Tea. tea is my favorite filler and green tea is wonderful for keep your body energized through the holiday season.

9. Water. lots and lots of water!

10. Celebrate with love! The most important of all don't forget why your celebrating and enjoy for friends, family and loved ones!
