It was a 3 mile hike through gorgeous terrain. I did a few sprints back and forth but nothing to intense.

Merry Chrismas

Merry, Merry Christmas everyone I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and that you enjoy your new year!

I thought I would share why Christmas is so special to me and if you would like i would love to hear why its special to you in the comments.

At a Christmas party when is was ten years old I hear the Christmas Story about how Jesus Christ was born in a manger and why he came! Which was to save each of us from our sins. Because we have all broken Gods laws we cannot go to heaven when we die but the Son of God, Jesus toke our place and died the cross but he did not stay dead three days later He came back alive and now lives in heaven  and he wants us to come and be with Him in heaven when we die!

That night I decided that I wanted to accept Jesus's Christmas gift of dying for me and give my life to him. I knew I that done wrong things and I wanted to be forgiven. So I asked God to forgive me and make me His. I remember feeling so much peace and joy when I made that decision! And I have never regretted it.

Now each Christmas I remember what Jesus did for me and each day he brings me that same Joy and peace that I felt that night.

If you have any questions comment down below and I would be happy to answer them.

have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Green Tea & Christmas Eve

A merry, happy Christmas Eve to you all ! Green tea is one of my favorite tea's of all time. And it's not just the amazing taste either it has so many health benefits I don't even on were to shart.

Here are a few I know of!

1. Weight loss ( ok this is not a myth really it works for small amounts of weight paired with a health diet it will speed the process big time )

2. Detox ( this is really great cleanse for after or even before the holidays )

3. Clear skin ( tea does hydrate your body really well and I think that's the main reason but green tea gives a wonderful glow )

4. Stress Relief

Ok, great benefits right but that doesn't mean that if you drink a cup of green tea your good to go you have to drink at least 2-3 cups a day!

        Have a great Christmas Eve!

How to Stay Healthy through the Holiday's

Last minute survival guide for a healthy holidays! Most people gain a few pounds over the holiday and that's not so much but it all adds up and it is a lot easier to not gain weight, then it is to lose it! So without further a dew my top tips for stay healthy and a few quick workout idea's for when your pressed for time.

Top Ten Tips for Staying in Tip Top Shape

1. Don't carb load ! Things like mash potato's, bread and cake are what's really going to do the big damage! You can still have a small dessert but really try to stay away from the big carbs.

2. Bring the salad! Now you don't really have to bring the salad but you can make sure that there is going to be some healthy options.

3. Eat Slow. Your stomach doesn't register that its full until 20 minutes later. So that your time!

4. Skip the Drinks. I mean everything but water and well to be perfectly honest a little apple cider. But no alcohol , I don't drink so this isn't hard for me but it is really important, no soda or juice really don't. This causes bloat and weight gain.

5. Talk! Its never hard for me but at the dinner table if you talk you won't be eating so this is a great time filler often we eat just because we're bored and food is there!

6. Do quick workouts. I do these right before bed and try to get up early and do a short run it such a great way to start you day ( Holiday workout below )

7. Sleep. is so important and sometimes hard to get during the holiday busyness !

8. Drink Tea. tea is my favorite filler and green tea is wonderful for keep your body energized through the holiday season.

9. Water. lots and lots of water!

10. Celebrate with love! The most important of all don't forget why your celebrating and enjoy for friends, family and loved ones!

Quick Holiday Workout

100 Jumping Jacks ( 2 JJ burns 1 calorie )
30 weight squats
30 weight lunges
30 sit ups

Simple and stick to it!

Merry Christmas !
